Hillary Clinton addresses progressive religious activists



Sen. Clinton drew loud applause when she addressed several hundred progressive religious activists who gathered on the top floor of the Hart Senate office building after a day of lobbying Congress to "make poverty history". Clinton reiterated her call for an increase to the minimum wage and called on Congress to stop raisinig their own pay while the minimum wage remains $5.15 an hour (which is the same it has been since 1997). An hour earlier, Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) addressed the group from the same podium.
